Featured Employer: DocuSign
‍This Week’s Noteworthy Find: DocuSign
More than eSignature software. A company with a commitment to making an impact everyday. Save time, save trees, sustained global impact.
-----------------------
Who hasn’t digitally signed a document using DocuSign? Willing to take a gamble here and say that 9 out of 10 people have used DocuSign in the past. As awesome as they are for cutting down the paper consumption, they have caught our attention with two recent job posts looking for a Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition, Sales, and Marketing and Head of Talent Outreach and Inclusion.Â
After digging into them even further, we discovered they are on Glassdoor’s list of “2020 Best places to work”. How cool is that!? They hold the #3 spot with a 4.6 Employee’s choice rating.Â
With comments like:
“DocuSign is an incredible company. I've never been a part of a company where everyone is so genuinely supportive and willing to go out of their way to help others out. The culture and tone is set from the top down -- you truly feel empowered to do the best work of your life here. It's an extremely exciting time for the company as we are expanding our offerings and ability to help customers become more agreeable. Plenty of opportunity for growth, great benefits and compensation packages.Â
A rocking careers page
DocuSign’s career page is thoughtful and answers questions most candidates wish other employers would hit head on. It dives into the important topics that make them stand out as an employer of choice. They have videos showcasing employee’s stories from all over the globe and what they think about Docusign. Another thing that stood out to us was that they foster diversity and inclusion. Not only are they hiring for it, they embrace it!Â
At the bottom of their career’s page, is a section on Diversity and Inclusion where they share their Employee Resource Groups:Â
We believe the most vibrant and successful companies are diverse and create a culture of inclusion. We encourage employees to bring their authentic selves to work and engage with our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to build community, to create strong networks, and to develop their careers.Â
If you are looking for a diverse and inclusive place to grow your career check out the Career’s page to see their list of ERG Groups to choose from. Love the focus on authenticity too!
Check out the DocuSign Impact page. This page is dedicated to the impactful work their employees do in their own communities and customer’s communities through volunteer work. Employees’ are encouraged to support and give back to places they care about with 24 hours of paid time off to volunteer.Â
The blog is full of useful information, but what we really loved was a section on Employee Spotlights. Here you can find stories from Interns all the way up to Engineers. For companies who might be reluctant to engage and focus on employee brand ambassadors, DocuSign is proof that it’s good for the team, and good for the brand.
Our Takeaway:
We look for companies bold enough to build their brand by investing in the employee experience, and who give employee advocates something to celebrate. To do this you must have leadership who embraces culture as a big driver of success. When employees feel connected to work, and know that their work matters, they are more likely to be advocates. DocuSign gets it and does a great job providing the proof candidates need - especially validation by employees themselves that the company cares. Â
DocuSign hires positions that embrace inclusion and brings teams together like talent acquisition, sales, and marketing, which you don’t see often in other companies. They highlight their culture through employees’ stories, ensure their employees’ communities are being assisted, and create groups where their employees’ feel included. Not to mention they have a blog section dedicated to sharing their Employee’s Stories and Achievement. We love all of this!
Companies like DocuSign are raising the bar on what it means to invest in employee experience and build your employer brand - from the inside out.Â
Check them out and follow DocuSign on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
